A heady assemblage of colourful aromas, the Hennessy XO cognac demands our full attention from the word go : Just fully intoxicating, exhilarating thrust of sugared almonds and honey on the nose, very clean cognac that interupts the palate with a blinding intervention of dark choc and vanilla, the finish is very long indeed with rancio and mandarin orange to the full extent.
Deep rich mahogany colour. Rich, smooth, velvety taste with strong hints of vanilla.
